We are excited to announce that Center for Community Integration, Inc. is now registered in the State of Maine as a non for profit corporation authorized to work in Maine.
We are in the process of developing a camp for children and adults with physical and/or intellectual disabilities. The camp will offer both overnight and day camp opportunities. We plan to locate the camp in Washington County, Maine. The camp will be located in an accessible beautiful area with direct access to water. Campers will have opportunities to explore local natural & cultural attractions, participate in recreational on the water and off the water events. We plan to offer camp services to Individuals and families we currently serve in Maryland with gradually expanding camp services to other groups of Individuals. We plan to provide transportation to the camp via van/bus service. The cost of the camp is planned to be via private pay and affordable. We plan to explore additional grant programs to subsidize the cost of camp for participants.
